My contribution for Fiesta Night!

So I have three Mexican friends that were talking me down for the past month telling me that tamales are suuper hard to make... I say not! These were suuper easy to make and very delicious! Throughout my cooking career I think my main objective is to find new ways to make delicious dishes that take a long time and do it in a shorter amount of time with the same results. I feel I have been blessed with a talent of cooking and I am ever so grateful to be able to share that with my family and friends! Thank you all for the compliments and the constructive criticism over the years that has allowed me to continue to perfect what I cook today!

Its Breakfast Time!!!
This is Portuguese Sausage Hash with three sunny side up eggs... A meal fit for a true local!
This is the traditional Portuguese Sausage, eggs, and rice! You can expect to see these two dishes in my restaurant some day! It has been a long time dream of mine to own and operate a successful local restaurant with foods from around the world. I think it would be boring if I just kept it to local food. I am slowly expanding my cooking abilities and knowledge about various ethnic dishes from the far east!!!
Ooddles of Noodles!!!
This is Chow Fun made with fresh Look Fun Noodles from Down Town China Town in Honolulu... It has taken me a long time to master cooking Chow Fun like they do at the Chinese restaurants on Oahu, but I finally mastered it! It tastes pretty close!!!
This is what we on Maui Call Dry Mein! This is a photo of a take out plate from Maui's famous Sam Sato's restaurant in Wailuku... Ive tried to make this at home before with the same exact noodles and ingredients, but I still need to master this noodle dish. Its served dry with broth on the side to loosen your noodles up. Sooooooo delicious!!!

The finished product was a success... maybe a little less bread, but the bread is soft and delicious!!! Never did I ever think I would make Manapua or Lap-Xuong bao but when you put your mind to things... things happne!!! Now if I can only apply that rule to my waist line.....

I love it and had to post it! Thanks James and all the other friends who make my life, a life worth living! Special thanks to God for blessing me with this talent!
My Famous Banana Bread!!!
Yep! Bake it in a 9x13 Buttered Pan!
This is the wok that has a few signatures of the people I cooked for on my mission!
Even though its been 3 years since my mission I still have it!
Many companions and other elders in the various zones ive served in have signed it!
President Cannons signature, Josh Imes, and Tabrizi!
This is just something I wanted to do to remember all the elders I served among and have shared this very recipe with. This recipe was and is known around the South Dakota Rapid City Mission and with all the adopted mission mothers, fathers, and family's!!!
Hee's Banana Bread!
Bowl 1
- 1 1/2C. Canola Oil
- 2C. White Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
Mix these ingredients together and set aside

Bowl 2
- 8 to 10 Large Bananas slightly over ripe, and hand mashed (slightly chunky is great!!!)
Mash bowl two according to directions above, and mix with Bowl 1

Bowl 3
- 2 1/2C. Flour
- 4 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 tsp. Salt
It is important to make sure that all ingredients are sifted together well.

Once sifted well, add Mixed Bowl (1 and 2) to Bowl 3and mix till everything is incorporated... DO NOT OVER MIX!!! If you over mix it wont turn out as well! Pour mixture into a well buttered 9x13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45min to an hour. Check with a tooth pic and make sure the center is cooked. Let cool to room temperature, cut, serve, and enjoy!

Thank you all for your love and support! I love to cook and hope to continue this on into the future! Love all of you guys!!!
